Surface Tension
Surface tension occurs at the interface of the liquid and a gas or at the interface of two liquids.
Surface tension (σ) is inversely proportional to temperature.
It acts when fluid is at rest.
It is a surface phenomenon.

These types of fluids do not obey Newton’s Law of viscosity. The relation between Shear Stress and Velocity gradient is given by the following formula-
Vortex Motion
A whirling or rotating mass of fluid is called vortex flow.
The flow of the fluid in a curved path.
Free Vortex Flow
In this flow fluid mass rotates due to the conservation of angular momentum. The velocity profile is inversely proportional to the radius.
